Top bartender to battle it out in Bangkok
Dusit D2 Hotel’s Kasem Wisarnsap has won the northern regions' top bartender contest and will now travel to Bangkok where he will take on the kingdom’s best behind the bar. Mr Kasem beat ten of the top bartenders from northern hotels at the Finlandia Northern Bartender Contest 2012 which was held at the Furama Hotel late June.

He will now represent the North in Bangkok and will take on contestants from around the country for the chance to be Thailand’s representative at the Asia-Pacific championship which will be held in Singapore. If he wins this round, he will then make his way to the overall international contest final to be held in Finland.
For his win Mr Kasem received cash prizes and financial support for his trip to Bangkok. The competition held at and organized by the Furama Hotel was done in cooperation with Brown-Forman Co., Ltd who owns Finlandia vodkas.
